Shibori Fabric

Shibori references the ancient tie dying technique from Japan. To recreate the beautiful handmade subtleties of the craft, we designed many slightly different variations of the same motif. For that reason, this pattern weaves best at the large repeat sizes (14 ½” and 29”), but the result doesn’t feel too large. Shibori can also be woven at the 5 3/4” repeat for a distressed, worn look, which is also attractive and very popular right now.
