Lauren Ridloff was a kindergarten teacher on maternity leave when she began her acting career. Originally hired as an American Sign Language tutor for Broadway director Kenny Leon, she was cast in the lead role of Children of a Lesser God, in which she won wide acclaim and a Tony nomination. Soon after Ridloff became a series regular as the fan-favorite Connie on The Walking Dead and was cast as Makkari in Marvel’s Eternals opposite Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani and Salma Hayek. In 2020 she received a 2020 BAFTA Breakthrough Award as one of the most promising new actors in film and television. Today she lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their two boys.

The Shirley Hall Bass Foundation preserves the legacy of pioneering performing artist Shirley Hall Bass and in doing so strengthens the connections within the African Diaspora through equitable and accessible performing arts education and programming in The Bahamas (through its sister organization the Shirley Hall Bass Legacy Project), Chicago and beyond. 


This scarf is printed in a limited, numbered edition of 100. $100 from each sale of this scarf from April 24, 2024 to October 24, 2024 will be donated to the Shirley Hall Bass Foundation. There will be a maximum donation of $10,000.
