Helena Christensen is one of the original super models and a celebrated fashion and art photographer. Born in Copenhagen to a Peruvian mother and Danish father, Helena has risen to global fame, gracing the covers of fashion magazines and being the face of multiple campaigns since the early 90's.

Simultaneously Christensen has been serving as a founding parter and creative director of Nylon Magazine, launching the concept store Butik in New York City and created best selling designs with Habitat London. She is also the creative director of the perfume company strangelove.

She was appointed UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador in 2019 and travels the world as a writer and photographer to document the hardships of refugees and displaced persons.

Her photography has been published extensively in Art and Design Magazines and is frequently showcased in galleries from Europe to the US.

About Project Street Dog

Amazon Alliance/Project Street Dog is a 501(c)3 charity comprised of a team of volunteers who seek to improve the lives of all street animals in the Peruvian Amazon region through rescue work, street campaigns and spay/neuter campaigns, as well as community education with the emphasis on responsible pet ownership. This includes appropriate care, vaccination, respect, and protection from cruelty and abandonment. Educate. Empower. Inspire. 

This scarf is printed in a limited, numbered edition of 100. $100 from each sale of this scarf from May 15, 2024 to December 15, 2024 will be donated to Project Street Dog. There will be a maximum donation of $10,000.
