Flora Saldivar is an abstract soak-stain painter, currently residing in the American Ozarks. Saldivar's intuitive process balances a "happened quality" with intentional compositions, capturing emotions and impressions through color, movement, and texture. Growing up in Mexico City, she was immersed in a culture rich with skilled artisans, fostering a deep appreciation for vibrant color and organic materials. She translates her cultural heritage into her abstract expressions. Today, Flora Saldivar is represented by MIXD Gallery where her works are available for purchase.
About Canopy NWA
Founded in 2016 as a grassroots organization, Canopy NWA is a nonprofit refugee resettlement agency dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive community for refugees in Northwest Arkansas. Since its inception, Canopy has resettled over 950 individuals from around the world who entered the U.S. through the State Department’s refugee program.
