Fantastica 36" Silk Square Scarf

While studying the country of Colombia, we were struck by its nature, amazing luscious colors, but mostly, by the uniqueness of its artisan crafts, such as weaving, hand woven baskets and beaded jewelry.

With this scarf, we are paying homage to Colombia. We took Colombian parrots, gerbera flowers, birds of paradise, and designed our own beaded and stitched jewelry, painted Colombian flowers, such as chrysanthemums and birds of paradise. Every element in this design, every bead and every stitch has been painted in a watercolor technique and gouache, in our very own studio. These paintings were then engraved and screen printed onto 14MM silk.

A multicolor pattern swirls. This large, pure silk square will enchant for an exciting evening on the town.
