Tying An Ascot With An Oblong Scarf

The Ascot Tie

1. Place the oblong on a flat surface.
2. Fold the scarf in half long-ways.
3. Flip the collar up so you can tie the scarf around your neck.
4. Wrap the oblong around your collar once so that both tails are hanging down the front of your shoulders. One tail should be longer than the other.
5. Lay the longer tail over the shorter tail.
6. Fold the long tail under shorter tail, horizontally.
7. Fold the longer tail on top horizontally again.
8. Bring the longer tail under and over the neck opening, laying the longer tail over the shorter tail.
9. Adjust the knot and the tie lengths as needed. 
10. Add pearls... and a leather jacket!
